What is the eligibility for the railway exam?
Railway Exam Eligibility is Depends on what post are you applying for and giving an exam. The Indian Railway Staff are classified into gazetted and non-gazetted employees, categorized under the groups namely A, B, C and D. Recruitment for Group -A Post is carried by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and In Group-B Posts Employees are Only Recruited through Promotion from Group-C.
As most of you would know RB’s Recruit People for Group-C and Group-D Posts for Non-gazetted Employees. So Eligibility Criteria of Group C is 12th Passed and Higher Qualification such as Graduate/Post Graduate Degree or Diploma. Group-D Eligibility Criteria is 10th passed.
AGE LIMIT: Most of the Indian Railways Group-C and Group-D Posts Age Limit are 18 to 30 years.
