ICMR NIRT Job Notification: ICMR National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) has invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Project Technical Officer, DEO and other. Eligible candidates can appear for walk-in-interview on 26, 28, 29 September and 05 October 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for Project Technical Officer, DEO and other Job 

Educational Qualification and Age Limit:

  • Project Technical Officer (Senior Investigator): Graduate in Science/Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized University with 05 years work experience in a recognized institution (or) Master’s degree in Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized University.
  • Project Technical Officer (Senior Technical Assistant): Graduate in Science from a recognized University with 05 years work experience in a recognized institution (or) Master’s degree in Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized University.
  • Project Technical Officer (Medical Social Worker): Graduate in social sciences/Social Work/Sociology/Medical Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology from a recognized university with 05 years work experience from a recognized institution. (or) Master’s degree in social sciences/Social Work/ Sociology/Medical Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology.
  • Project Assistant (Field Investigator): Graduate in Science from a recognized university with three years experience (or) Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
  • Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician): Class 12 pass in science subjects with any one of the following: (i) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or (ii) One year Diploma in Med Laboratory Technology with one year laboratory experience in a recognized organization/institution or (iii) Two years laboratory experience in a government recognized organization/institution.
  • Project Technician III (X-Ray Technician): Class 12 pass in science subjects and two years diploma in radiography/02 years relevant experience in any recognized organization.
  • Data Entry Operator (Grade B): Intermediate or Class 12 (10+2) pass in science stream from a recognized board with DOEACC ”A” level from a recognized institute.
  • Project Technician II (Health Assistant): High School* or equivalent with 05 years experience in health field from any government recognized institute or organization.
  • Project Technician II (Laboratory Assistant): High School or equivalent with Five years experience in laboratory work from Government Institution/Recognized institute.
  • Multi- Tasking Staff (Helper): High School or equivalent.
  • Multi- Tasking Staff (Sweeper): High School or equivalent.
  • Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician) (for IRL): Class 12 pass in science subjects with any one of the following, (i)Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, or (ii) One year Diploma in Med Laboratory Technology with one year laboratory experience in a recognized organization/institution or (iii) Two years laboratory experience in a government recognized organization/institution.

How to Apply ICMR NIRT Recruitment 2020

Eligible candidates can appear for walk-in-interview on 26, 28, 29 September and 05 October 2020. The Candidates are expected to have a good knowledge on the book titled “Tuberculosis prevalence surveys: a handbook” for working in this survey. https://www.who.int/tb/advisory_bodies/impact_measurement_taskforce/resources_documents/thelimebook/en/. The Persons should bring 02 copies of the Bio data in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from NIRT/ICMR/sister institutes of ICMR.
