3 Arrested For Murder Of Suresh Raina’s Relatives: Three members of the gang that murdered members of cricketer Suresh Raina’s household in Punjab’s Pathankot final month, throughout a reported theft, have been arrested, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh stated Wednesday, as he declared the case “solved”.

According to Mr Gupta the SIT (Special Investigation Team) probing the case obtained a tip earlier this week that the three arrested suspects – recognized as Sawan (alias Matching), Muhobbat and Shahrukh Khan, all residents of Rajasthan – had been holed up in slum dwellings close to the Pathankot Railway Station.

“What happened to my family is Punjab was beyond horrible. My uncle was slaughtered to death, my bua & both my cousins had severe injuries. Unfortunately, my cousin also passed away last night after battling for life for days,” the cricketer, who had pulled out of the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season resulting from “personal reasons”, tweeted.

Mr Raina had appealed to Chief Minister Amarinder Singh for assist, and Mr Singh had responded: “Beta (my son)… we will make sure that the guilty are brought to justice”.
